Phill Kline is the former Attorney General of the State of Kansas and served from 2002-2006.

It is so rare to see a person who today puts the truth above personal preservation. As seen on Fox news, in USA Today, the O’Reilly Factor, and other media outlets, Phill Kline is a real life David and Goliath story of how he took on the one billion dollar abortion industry.

Phill Kline was the first and only prosecutor ever to succeed in obtaining abortion records from Planned Parenthood and notorious late term abortionist George Tiller. It was during his eight years in the Kansas House of Representatives prior to Serving as Attorney General that Phill Kline helped to write and vote into law one of the strictest late term abortion laws of our land.

As Kansas Attorney General, Phill Kline began to notice that the number of late term abortions were increasing. In an effort to discharge the duties of his office, as in all criminal cases, Kline subpoenaed abortion medical records from the Tiller Clinic and Planned Parenthood. This brought down the wrath of the abortion industry nationwide. Millions of dollars from the abortion industry poured into Kansas to defeat his efforts. Yet the truth and Phill Kline’s determination to enforce the law against the abortion industry somehow found a way.

Phill Kline did, in deed, obtain the abortion records just weeks before he was defeated in his bid for re-election but in an amazing comeback he was elected to Johnson County District Attorney by the Republican Party and was able to retain jurisdiction over the Planned Parenthood investigation. It was nine months after Phill became prosecutor in Johnson County, Kansas, that a district judge thoroughly reviewed all the evidence and found probable cause that crimes were committed. On October 17, 2007 Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri was charged with 107 criminal charges including 23 felonies. During a time when the entire country thought that all we could do was wait for the next Supreme Court Justice to help overturn Roe, Phill Kline changed the course of the national battle forever by placing Planned Parenthood on the defensive by exposing the alleged crimes within their clinics.
